k the person i am living with was washing the rags that the cleaning people used in the washing machine. he made sure that he washed his clothes after i washed mine so that mine would get full of all the filth and cleaning chemicals left over from the rags. he did this because some gay kid that liked fucking with me convinced him that i had AIDS and he shouldnt tell me, but instead do this inorder to ruin my skin so that i couldnt get a girlfriend and transmit AIDS. I got tested, and I don't have AIDS. He was the one with AIDS. Anyway, this went on for five months until i figured out what was going on. All the filth and chemicals caused me to develope dermatitis all over my body, dry, sensntive, defatted and eaten away skin and foliculitis. The point of this was to make me go insane because eaten away skin all over your body gives you a feeling of constant suffering and being trapped inside your own body I went to a dermatologist and they misdiagnosed (probably intentionally) it as an allergic reaction and this problem went on until i figured out the problem. Its been almost two years now, and I have developed a regemine to help my skin heal. Healing was minimal until I started doing all this, but it still hasn't healed very much. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. My skin was probably the least of the damage, since it regenerates easily. It took a toll on the rest of my body, especially my heart and brain. I am in constant discomfort and I have never been the same. This is THE WORST thing thats ever happened to me, and a lot of terrible things have happened to me during my life.

I am posting this because I am asking for help adding or correcting things in this regemine.

Wow! I am sorry to hear that you have this problem and I can't believe that they misdiagnosed you on purpose. That's not cool. You are obviously correct that it was due to the wash. That makes the most sense! You know, you never know what is causing your health problems. It could be anything...including someone's sneaky plan like that! Also...I hate when people tell lies about someone. I give you sympathy for the AIDS thing. I wish I knew what to tell you to get yourself back to normal.

But here's what I can tell you: Please don't use any products that contain propylene glycol. Trust me, it irritates a lot of people...more than you think. I break out from things that contain it. It is a chemical in cosmetics, food, medicine and tobacco. It is also in antifreeze, brake/hydraulic fluid and de-icers. It is a skin irritant, but it only seems to irritate some people, like me. I even break out in a rash after eating it! (That actually happened to me today). It also tends to mess with my emotions, but thats a whole different story. But I would stongly encourage you to stay away from this chemical, especially if your skin is so dry and sensitive! It could cause you more harm.

I would go for all natural and organic products. They are safe, they do the job and are nice and gentil. Putting some of those harsh inactive ingredients in creams, lotions etc could be causing your skin more damage. Remember, it was harsh chemicals that did it to you in te first place. You don't want them back!

Hope this helped

:D

I know this is a little off the topic, but I am confused. I agree with prop. about using natural & organic products (which I use), but from what I read on the internet on various websites, propylene glycol is NOT used in antifreeze, brake fluid, etc. That is ethylene glycol, which I guess is totally different. Am I totally wrong? I wish Dr. T would chime in & give us the scientific facts. Not trying to start a war here, I just want to clear up my confusion. :D

Ethylene glycol is a better agent for antifreeze but sometimes propylene glycol is used in antifreeze instead (e.g. when human exposure is possible) because it is much less toxic. Still, propylene glycol cab be a skin irritant for some people.

They use both. I think they recently started using propylene glycol because ethylene was too toxic for pets and stuff. I have done a LOT of research on propylene glycol as well as my own studies. Not to brag, but I do know a lot about it.
