I have been reading a little about taking Silica as a supplement to help with iimproving skin condition. Has anyone heard much about it and if so is it effective? Would like to know the thiughts of the forum users.

I do know that silica is used in producing earth for pool filters so i would imagine that it may cause harmful chemicals but that is all i know. Maybe try researching it on google or asking a dermatologist! |

Thank-you for the replies. I have only just started getting info about Silica, so really don't know much about it. I will read the article you recommended Dr Todorov. I understand that it is a mineral and could possibly have an effect on the body as far as chemicals go, but from what I have read so far it seems okay. Will look into it though.
