I want my skin will be clear and health.
Is that problem essential for you?
What kind of medical preparation do you use? And what about result?
Can you suggest me treatment which was efficient for your skin?
I'm really need your advice for it!

where is your acne? What have you tried? If it is really bad, see a dermotologist for direction. Also try acne.org.

Hello Dave.I too used to have acne.Sometimes still get the occasional pimple, but nowhere near as gruesome as it once was!!!!

After being like you and trying all over the counter products and Proactiv and Murad and getting BAD RESULTS,I finally sucked it up and went to a Dermatologist.

He put me on 4 different things for my acne.

1) A facial cleanser called Neo strata....it is fairly new product my dermatologist told me to use. It's soap free, fragrance free with 4% PHA and Gluconolactone meant for sensitive/acne prone skin. For my acne, nearly all cleansers/face washes found at the store are too drying and irratating to my skin.

2) a 3 month prescription of oral anti-biotic MINOCYCLINE to kill infection beneath the skin

3) A topical retinoid called DIFFERIN GEL which keeps the pore from becoming clogged to begin with

4) Metro gel,an anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory meant for people with ROSEACA.

It has now been a year, and my skin has stayed clear. It looks better then it EVER has! Sure,it may seem like I spent alot of money on these products, but in comparison to the money I've wasted over the years on things that DID NOT WORK AT ALL,it is worth it.

My dermatologist said to use only the things he tells me to use,and I have stuck by that and have had great results.

However,if the first dermatologist you go to doesnt seem to help much, dont despair.Find another one.The first one I went to told me to "wash my face more" after I spent 120 dollars on the visit.

I was terribly discouraged, and someone finally recomended the guy I go to now,and he has been a life saver!!!

brunettemama,
What are the side effects with all those products that you take and put on your skin?
