I'm 23 and i have fine wrinkles under my eyes and i'm starting to see small wrinkles by the outside of my eyes. I wear sunscreen everyday in my moisturizer and my foundation but is there something else that i can be using to help the wrinkles disappear or become less noticable? |

Make sure your sunscreen is adequate. I recommend reading this section thoroughly: smartskincare.com/skinprotection/ |

Sunscreen is your best et for prevention for further wrinkles, not reduction of already acquired wrinkles. To diminish the apperance of the wrinkles you already have, try Retin-a or vitamin c (only if you're not too sensitive for them, especially in the delicate undereye area) or follow Dr. Todorov's infopacks. |

Actually, sunscreen alone, even if it says UVA/UVB is usually insufficient for comprehensive UV protection. To understand why and what to do about it, I strongly recommend reading all the articles in this section:

Many of the sunscreens stating that they have adequate UVA/UVB protection are basically lying. Keep in mind that in USA, 'broad spectrum protection' and 'UVA/UVB protection' are not regulated labels, nor there is a standard for measuring the UVA protection. Therefore, manifactures can state whatever they want. Often their 'broad spectrum protection' has UVA factor of less than 5 ....
A good all-chemical sunscreen photo-stable with really adequate UVA/UVB protection are
Banana Boat Sunblock Sun Wear Faces, Oil Free SPF 30
Banana Boat Sunblock Sun Wear Lotion, SPF 50
they have semi-matte dewy looking finish, the price is very reasonable and they feel like moisturizer. May feel 'warm' a little after application like all chemical sunscreens but that goes away. Women find them excellent makeup primers.
The best matte finish is given by Neutrogena Dry-Touch SPF 30 but the avobenzone in it is not stabilized and that formula tends to migrate in eyes pretty easily and sting. |

I would make sure to always use sunscreen and maybe at night use a moisturizer specifically for the eye area. AND , always wear sunglasses outside. Everytime you squint in the sun, you're making new wrinkles. |

The skin around our eyes is extremely thin and fragile. Because it is so thin and transparent it exposes tell tale signs about our overall skin's condition.
Once fine lines are noticed around the eyes a persons first instinct is to touch the skin. Leave your skin alone. The more you touch it the more you tug and cause loss of vital elastisity (exactly what you don't want). Try introducing a hydrating eye serum to your routine. HOWEVER, when applying dab tiny amount on the eye orbit bone (do not need to appy directly to eye skin) as eye is warmer and will wick the product to appropriate area. Also avoid water proof make-up that requires a remover to cleanse. Do wear sunglasses to avoid squinting and do apply sunscreen everyday. And lastly, drink plenty of water. Water plumps and hydrates smoothing away wrinkles.
hope this is helpful. |

It is never to young to start using preventive creams. Other than a sunblock and good moisturizer, I would recommend using an eye gel. I've been using gel for about three months and I do see a difference in the fine lines around my eyes. :) |

There are various key ingredients in anti-wrinkle creams: Tretinoin and Retinols, anti-oxidants, hydroxy acids, etc. Choose creams with the proper ingredients. You can find more information on wrinkle cream ingredients below.

I couldn't agree more with what people have been saying about sunscreen. And it needs to be UVA/UVB to get the best protection.
Also, wear a hat as much as possible when you are outside. No matter how good the sunscreen, it can't beat a good hat with a wide brim.
Good luck. |
