I have been looking into the best natural ingredients to apply topically to reduce the appearance of aging skin. Does anyone know anything about resveratrol? I have heard that if you take resveratrol tablets that they have been shown to reduce the signs of aging. What about creams with resveratrol?

Red wine has very good antioxidant power, a cup a day would be good. Usually 'supplements' do not work as good as the natural food source.

I read that resveratrol applied topically has been shown to reduce/ prevent UV damage, but I imagine drinking a glass of red wine a day would probably be good as well.

There has been a lot of controversy about red wine actually being as beneficial for you as is said. Some people say that you need to consume somewhere around 100 bottles a day for there to actually be a noticeable benefit to your health, other people only say you need a glass a day. Check out the special about it on 60 minutes (it won't allow me to post the Url but google '60 minutes red wine' and it will show up)

I use Rodan & Fields Products on my face...AntiAge Regimen and Night Renewing Serum which comes in a capsule. I only use about twice a week. After spending thousands on all the topical solutions, I chose their products because they are tested and have non-prescription medicines as well as natural ingredients.

Here is an FYI regarding resveratol and their scam: Cbs did a special on this product and uncovered the lies and deceptive marketing regarding autobill and free trials. The makers of this product have an F rating. Must read, just do google search for Katie Kouric interview on cbs save your money
This was on CBS on July 29, 2009. Google it since I cant post as link here due to spammers.
My doctor has me on Vimulti and I am happy. There are also generic forms of Vimulti that may be cheaper but you would have to take 5 pills instead of just one. Good luck |
