I've been reading quite a bit about how people are using Aspirin masks and toners for skin rejuvenation and also help with healing any skin problems on the face. Sounds like they are having great results. What do you think about this?
Here are some reviews of those who have used the mask:

Here are some reviews of those who have used the toner:

Thanks for your help.

aspirin is acetyl salycilic acid, a chemical relative of common beta-hydroxy acid, salycilic acid. I don't think the benefits are much greater than from BHA or AHA, but some people benefit from hydroxy acids and similarly some people may benefit from aspirin masks. However, DIY-ing aspirin mask can be irritating to skin if done improperly.

I have asked before on other forums but never really got a good answer to the question: why not just use a salicylic acid soap instead of making an aspirin mask.

I would think the salycilic acid soap is a lot easier to use and it won't cause that sneezing problem that the powdered aspirin can when it gets in your nose.
