Hi Dr T,

I am wondering if you can please update at some stage the DIY skincare guide to be a bit easier to follow. For example, as mentioned before if making CE Ferulic one starts out with something like a HA serum which makes 50mL. However, the guide for a vitamin C serum only makes 10mL worth not 50mL. Then the section about adding vitamin E switches to ounces which I have no idea about, then back again to milligrams and mL for the Ferulic Acid.

I'd really like to see something which was a bit more consistent such as a proper CE Ferulic guide to go through the entire thing with consistent measurements in both imperial and metric.

Do you think this will be possible? Even if it's not do-able for all items in the guide, even just the big ones such as CE Ferulic would be a step in the right direction. I'm happy to help with this in some way if possible.

Thanks for the feedback and offer of assistance. I don't recall getting other requests for standardization, but let me think about whether providing both metric and imperial systems, or completely standardizing into one or the other would be worthwhile.

One of the reason the amounts may be insufficiently standardized is that sometimes amounts are derived from a common forms of active ingredients. E.g. a content of a gel cap, or a weight of a teaspoonful. My "bias" is typically towards convenience of preparation w/o specialized tools rather than standardization. In any case, I'll give it some thought.

Well another solution would be to simply use teaspoons as an approximate measuring system as you currently do for some parts of it. That would help a lot.
