Proper use of moisturizer

Being aware of the suggestion that moisturizer should be used on a damp face, I am wondering about proper application of moisturizers that contain sunscreen. I assume it would be best to use these on a dry face, however, to be sure I thout it best to seek advice.

Also, I have heard conflicting theories of whether it is best to use eye cream before or after moisturizer. Should eye skin be damp as well?

Generally, whenever you wish the ingredients in the cream to absorb better, it is best to apply to the wet face.

For most sunscreens, the less absorption the better, so you can apply to dry face.
