As many of you might know by now, sheet masks have became a very popular trend in the skin care industry and many people nowadays are adding them to their skin care routine. They come in different varieties for different skin care concerns (acne, anti-aging, brightening..etc.) some are really expensive and used once or twice a week and others are affordable and used almost daily.

Now, I've been asking myself if sheet masks really work or are they just another 'trend' and beauty gimmick.

I'd like to read some research and science on the subject, Anyone?

I'm sure some of them are just a gimmick and some actually work. I have tried a few hydrating ones and they work really well for my dry skin after a harsh peel off mask.

Can I ask what brands have you tried and felt a positive difference? Was it Asian or western brands?

I have been using Glitter Glamshow hydrating face mask since last 6 months and it works really well for my dry skin. So you must try out this.

Undoubtedly, these mask sheets are more convenient options than conventional masks. However, in my case they keep my skin hydrated for sure but I doubt the efficacy if they bring any glow to the skin.
