agh! i have a lot of little bumps around my undereye area, have had them for years and want to get rid of them! my aesthetician told me i probably got them from clogging the tiny pores under my eyes from using a heavy undereye cream (a possibility), and she suggested not applying cream directly on them for a while and they would most likely go away with time. well...that did not happen.
i spoke with my dermatologist and she said there was really nothing much i could do about it. she said i could try applying a tiny bit of mild retin a micro on them at night, but that she wasn't sure i would see much improvement. i had read online about extraction of milia and asked my dermatologist about that, and she said that it is possible to damage the undereye area by extraction and that the results are iffy.
so....i am asking the doctor and other posters who may have experience with milia, is there anything on earth i can do to get rid of these nasty bumps?!? also...what exactly causes milia in the first place. is there any correalation between milia and aging? thanks for the help! |
