it looks ok but i do not know this particular vendor. Idebenone is best soluble in polar organic solvents, such as nonionic detergents and emulsifiers. Many base creams or gels have inactives in that category and should be compatible with idebenone. |

Dr T, is there any particular solvent for idebenone that you recommend, that isn't irritating to the skin?
Regarding idebenone, what's the difference between vendors? I guess price would be my biggest concern, but how do you ensure purity of the product?
Can idebenone even penetrate the skin? Or is it all just hype? |

Idebenone can penetrate the skin, it is not that large, but there is no evidence that it is better than CoQ10. Try Q10 first. |

It might surprise you, but idebenone has been around for over 20 years. If there were patents, they likely have expired. Perhaps, some someone could try to patent its application to skin care, but I doubt that such patents are granted or at least easily defensible. |
