I've always had normal skin, sometimes leaning toward oily. recently i've been under stress and my skin has completely dried out and is really flakey. its not itchy, just tight. its also summer atm and we live in an airconditioned house. could this be a factor to my sudden skin dryness?
how do i get my skin back to normal?

Many factors can conribute to dry skin, including detergents, low relatve humidity, age-related and other hormonal changes, some skin care products, such as retin A, excessive exfoliation, etc. However, airconditioning in the summer usually does not cause dry skin because in an airconditioned space the relative humidity is generally higher than outside. On the other hand, indoor heating in winter is a common cause of dry skin because it reduces relative humidity of the air. |

Hi,
You may try a home-made pack for your face. For your dry skin mix together gram flour with fresh cream, a pinch of turmeric powder and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply on your face and keep for around 15 minutes and wash off.
You will note the difference in a month’s time. |

I found that taken fish oil supplements and evening primrose oil help tremendously. It's sort of like moisturizing from within. It's a godsend this time of year. |
