is it ok to use it as an exfoliant?
I have purchased this product, but I am not sure, if it is a smart chice, can you help Dr. Todorov?

Professional Fruit Acid 15% 1.9 pH - 4 ounces
Ingredients: Distilled water, natural Alpha Hydroxy acids, Glycolic, Lactic & Pyruvic acids, Cellulose gum

I read somewhere that pyruvic acid is not natural to the skin, and thus, can damage it?

Thank you.

Well, this is a mix of several alpha hydroxy acids. Pyruvic acid is a bit stonger than other AHA, which may make it more irritating than other AHA of at same concentration.
