White bumps under the eye - milia?

Hi! I am a high school student.

For the past 8 years or so, small white bumps gradually formed under both eyes. Recently, I met up with a local dermotologist and addressed the problem. He sort of burned the tips of these bumps. I went through this procedure twice, but the bumps were still there.

I'm not sure if this is <milia>, because I haven't used any cream/oil products under my eyes.

These bumps are not a big problem, but it would be great to know what these bumps really are. My dermotologist did tell me this is a genetically passed down symptom, and that it will pop up elsewhere one by one.

Milia may form even without using creams under eyes (which does not necessarily mean that you have it, of course)

Sounds like milia. Schedule an appointment with a good esthetician - they will be able to get rid of the milia by using a lance-it or other extraction - not something you can do at home...
