I just purchased the infopacks. I did see any reference to the benefits of Soy for the skin. This seems to be a key selling point for many of the products available now.
Also, can soy slow or stop hair growth? I've seen (and used) moisturizers that claim to do such, but have not noticed any personal results.

Thank you,

Melanie

While soy is now a somewhat popular ingredient in skin care, I have not seen any credible research demonstrating its benefits in skin rejuvenation. Until then, discussing skin benefits of soy would be a mere speculation.

While theoretically soy's phytoestrogens might has some effect on male pattern hair growth, I don't think the effect is significant if it exist at all.

I've done extensive research into estrogens and hair growth, phytoestrogens are too damn complicated. Some studies show that they are agonists to estrogen receptors and turn on transcription, others that they do not. Some studies show that they are antagonists in so far they competitively inhibit estrogen from binding to the receptors. For hair loss we know this, inhibit either the formation or binding of DHT (and other androgens) and increase estrogen levels at the follicular level and you will increase hair growth in the scalp. For facial hair growth well thats a different story ...
