Hey,
am 27 and from the Caribbean.

I get lots of sun.

Am new to this whole "take care of your skin" thing.

I got oily skin and all I do is cleanse, tone, occasionally moisturize and exfoliate once a week (when I remember).

Should I begin to use some anti aging stuff now?

How does this work?

I would appreciate any advice you can give me on how to take care of my skin and keep it looking good.

apple :)

Hello,

Great question! You're never too young to begin a careful skincare regime. It's wise that you're thinking about it now while you're young. Your routine looks good. You shouldn't place too many things on the skin.

I would recommend twice a week taking kiwis (not sure if they are available in your area) and eating as many as you desire for breakfast (alone) twice a week. And using some of the kiwi mass to spread over your face and neck. This will introduce a surplus of vitamin C into your skin. Vitamin C is the queen of all vitamins for skin (alongside A and E)! The vitamin C will stay in your skin for up to 4 days-even when you wash your face.

(*Just in case you don't have access to kiwis in your area, use organic strawberries or blueberries.)

No problem! What kinds of fruits are affordable where you live? From there, I can make the best pick.

Thank you for letting me know. I would recommend eating a lot of papaya or mangoes in the morning. It must be one or the other (not both). Eat as much as you want and wait 3 hours or more before eating other foods. Papaya, mango, and coconut are very healthy skin fruits! :)

You're very welcomed! :) Just a reminder: Make sure to eat either papaya, mango, or coconut. Not 2 of these at a time. One at a time. For example, if you wanted papaya first, eat as much as you want. And wait 2 hours and proceed to another fruit (mango). But wait 3 hours if you want to consume non-fruits.

Also, you may use papaya on your face. Smother it in and wait 15 minutes before washing it off. Your skin will look gorgeous.

Have a wonderful day (or night)!~~

Just wondering why I should only eat one fruit at a time...and why I shouldn't mix them...

And also the 2 hour wait or 3 hour wait.

Thanks!

Hello,

I should have told you this in the last message---I apologize for that!

You should only eat one fruit at a time b/c the enzymes will block each other. For example, if you eat papaya and coconut together, the enzyme in papaya (papain) will interfere with the coconut's enzyme (don't know which one for coconut though). You want to make sure the fruit is absorbed thouroughly by the body and that's the way to do it. So that it is not interfered with.

And the reason for the 2 hour/3hour wait is in accordance with the first part I typed. To give the body enough time to absorb and utilize the fruit and foods. When fruit is mixed with non-fruit items, it ferments in the stomach and gets turned into fat.

If you have any more questions, just let me know.
