ingredients: white petrolatum, water, mineal oil, cetosteryl alcool, ceteth 20, methyl paraben, citric acid, sodium cit
what is the benefit of a skin barrier cream ?
what is the difference between a regular cream & a skin barrier cream ? |

This sounds like a cream that protects skin from harsh environmen like cold, wind, detergents, etc. In a mild envornment petrolatum is too heavy for the skin. |

Thank you for letting me know.... it will save me $ .
what you wrote about petrolatum in mild climate..... maybe explain why I have milia ( white HARD round deposit ) . I guess I will look for another moisturizer . what ingredients do I look for or avoid for semi-tropical climate for dry skin ? |

You could first try a basic long-acting moisturizer like Aveeno (classic) and see if it reliefves your dryness. |
