I see many people take zine and fish oil supplements as part of their daily skin regime.

What are the benefits of zinc and fish oil for the skin? Any safety issue on taking these supplements? How many tablets should one take?

Fish oil may be contaminated by mercury. Search this forum - this has been discussed.

To much zinc may cause copper deficiency as they compete for the same GI transport pathway. Intakes of zinc and copper have to be balanced. Typically recommended intake ratio of Zn/Cu is 15/1, i.e. 1 of mg copper for each 15 mg of zinc.
