Why would you want to buy it? What are its special properties?

I am using it in the facial cream I've developed. :D
Amaranth Oil is rich oil for topical skin use is high in squalene and a good source of vitamin E. It softens and moisturizes dry skin, is readily absorbed and does not leave a greasy residue.
May help with the healing of cuts, burns and stretch marks!
Squalene helps to keep our skin soft and healthy and its anti-oxidant capabilities help to protect from the harsh effects of the environment.
Here is a link to Wikipedia where you can read more about squalene.

I agree that squalEne is great for the skin and absorbs well - it is one of the component factors in the skin's own lipid barrier. However, squalEne by itself is said to have a pretty short shelf life.

This is where squalAne comes in - a squalEne derivative, it has the same skin compatibility characteristics of squaLene and a much longer shelf life.

If it is difficult for you to find amaranth or squalene, you could give it some thought. I get my squalAne from New Directions. You can also get it from Garden of Wisdom.

Finally, I've got the amaranth seed oil. I am in the process to make an agreement with oil processor and I will try to sell it in Canada. For inside and topical. :)
