I commenced using AHA 15% 6 weeks ago, I had no problems until now: My skin has gone thick and dry, like sandpaper, in a few spots (the outside of my nose, and chin line). I have discontinued (for the time being) using the AHA cream and will let my skin rest for a few months. I was planning to use the AHA cream - X months on, X months off - as recommended in your Skin Info Pack. My questions are:
Do you think it would be okay to try the AHA cream again (I was getting some good results)?
Should I drop to 10% (if yes, my current brand only has 10% AHA glycolic & citric acid, is citric acid okay or should I switch brands)? |

Hi,
What chemical was 15%? Glycolic? I would not try a 15% on my skin nightly.
