Dr Todorov,
what do you think about high-percentage glycolic pads for cleansing the skin ?

I wish we could DIY but for example DDF glycolic 10% daily cleansing pads .
they are very expansive . ( I have sensitive skin)
DR 's say it is an effecient exfoliation device ... better than creams designed to be left on overnight. They do not like the principle of exfoliating & leaving the debris on the skin. it is better to exfoliate & then wipe off dead skin cells with a pad & throw it away.
You create a clean surface to absorb the serum ....

wanted to know if it is an effective way to exfoliate or a waste of $ ? thank you

If you want to avoid an exfoliation cream and keep costs low, there are other ways to exfoliate using a mask that you put on briefly and then rinse off. You can DIY using various natural ingredients that exfoliate either due to natural acidity (e.g. fruit, yogurt) or enzymes (e.g. pineapple).

Hi,

If someone has 40% glycolic, is there a "formula" for diluting glycolic to 10%? What can glycolic be mixed with to dilute?

Thanks

Mar

If you wish to dilute a 40% solution to 10%, you need to take 1 part of that solution and add 3 parts of the diluting vehicle / solvent.

But I do NOT recommend tinkering with concentrated acids, it is easy to make a mistake and do a lot of damage.
