Mixing Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid in the same product

Dr T,
I see that there are some products that have both Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid in the same base. Would it be better (more effective, safer, more comfortable, longer shelf life, etc) to have them in separate products? Or is it ok to have them combined into the same product for convenience?

They don't react with one another, so for shelf like it's ok. Whether using both provides additional benefits is debatable. Perhaps for people with acne...
