I just realized that my daily moisturizer (cetaphil) contains some citric acid. I use it in the a.m. on top of a copper peptide serum. Is this a no-no?

It depends on the pH of the moisturizer rather than on whether it contains a bit of citric acid (which may be completely buffered). If ph is 5 or higher, you should be fine.
