I hope someone can help me. I have several red marks which gradually turn brownish and disappear, then i get more. They are usually anywhere from the size of a pin head to the size of a penny, not always round in shape. They are not solid red, more like a light airbrush type mark, like a faint lovebite if you know what i mean? They are never itchy, dry or sore, they are not raised and the only symptom is the visual ugliness of them! They are most common behind my knees and on the insides of my thighs but i`ve also got them along the insides of my arms. They`ve been present for around 4 years with "hormones" being the only suggestion my dr has. They seem to be worse in winter but i still get them all year round. Any suggestions of what they might be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Mand.

Maybe post a picture if you can. Do you suntan or use sun tan machines?
I am told suntanning/sunbeds can cause tiny blood vessels to explode and cause pin size red point lesions. If they come and go, maybe best to consult a dermatologist..

Thanks for the reply. I don`t use sunbeds or sunbathe etc. Sadly i can`t get any pics up as my camera doesn`t work with this pc but i`ll have a look online to see if i can find anything similar. I guess they look like small patches of dry skin, only they`re not dry or itch etc. I`m guessing it is something to do with the blood vessels though, as the rednes fades to brown as blood does.
