I recently found a fantastic product - you can actually paint on your eyebrows. I bought it on line and you can't believe how good it is, especially when you're my age - with them getting grey and sparse. |

Congratulations! ;-)
My mother also had a loss of eyebrows. She went to a permanent make-up artist who gave her new eyebrows (some kind of a tattoo).
You can't believe it, it looks so real! You can really see the little eyebrow hairs tattooed on her skin!! :-) |

Yeah. When I see some people, I can't tell what is real and what's not. Do you really have 23 kids? |

I need it too. My eyebrows are so scarce and thinning. |

Loss of eyebrow may be a sign of hypothyroidism and can be reversed by treating the problem. |

Yes, but it is also a sign of ordinary senescent alopecia. I'm not sure that it is modulated by DHT the way it is on the scalp. Minoxidil may improve things, but the hair would be in a prolonged anagen phase, which would cause them to grow longer, not jsut thicker. That means they might start to look alittle wild. They also ahve lace eyebrows, but those are for extreme cosmetic correction. More like people with alopecia universalis or burn victims. Still, minox might be your best, non-cosmetic bet. |
