HellO
I was wondering if the Dr could kindly explain to me the difference between natural active peptides and matrixl and also I would like to know if they complement each other or if they would compete for absorption with one another.
Im a little confused about all this peptide information and the different matrixls and Im hoping this will clarify a few things for me.
thanks |

'Natural active peptides' does not have any specific meaning.
Could you provide chemical names for 'natural active peptides'?

Skin Actives' "natural active peptides" is actually hydrolysed marine collagen with molecular weight below 5,000 MW. At that size, I don't think it can actually penetrate skin. At best, you will get a moisturising effect.
However, they claim that mixing a "matrixyl-like" ingredient with their natural active peptides and hyaluronic acid is a very synergistic combination for boosting collagen-production in the skin.
What are your thoughts on this claim, Dr T? |
