since retinyl palmitate and retinyl acetate are both forms of vit. A. Is it safe to use them during the day? Will it create photsensitivities? |

It is far less active than tretinoin (Retin A) and therefore far less likely to cause photosensitivity. However, if overused, or in cases of very sensitive skin, even retinyl palmitate may cause some photosensitivity. |

then if I have a skin condition that makes me photosensitive to the sun, should I not use any form of vit. A or do you think that using retinyl a little is ok? |

If you have a skin condition, only your dermatologist can tell you for sure. |
