Are there any studies that PROVE certain ingredients tighten and firm the skin?

Yes, Dimethylaminoethanol, more commonly known as DMAE has been proven to tighten and firm the skin. -Textbook of Cosmetic Dermatology, Third Edition, Robert Baran & Howard I. Maibach.

parimiters of study
150 female subjects between 35 and 60
29 day, placebo control, randomized, double blind
Confirmed to improve firmess in folowing areas. under eye, cheekbone, cheek fold, jawbone

Consecutive studies confirm same information. with increasing firmess even further over longer perids of time.

Also studies have been done on hyluronic acid and its ability to draw water into the skin creating a slight swelling that can fill wrinkles and slightly firm the skin. Also water loss from the epidermis

Hope this helps

So whats better to tighten loose skin? dmae or hylrounic acid?

I have tried the hylrounic acid and it works great for wrinkles, but what about loose skin?

It really depends on what effect you want.. I would say both! Sesderma“s Daeses line is great and the products have both ingredients. They have probably 5 or 6 diffrent ones. [url]sesderma.com/ingles/anti_aging_products.php?sf=11

I have been using Jan Marini's C Esta Serum, which has a DAE complex, which contains both HA and a "very concentrated" % of DMAE (anyone know how much?) have been told contains waaaaay more than any Perricone product.
