well, it has parabens.. and if you research on tocopherol acetate - i saw a study that it could actually be harmful to the skin. the form of vitamin e that's good for the skin is said to be tocopherol sorbate. |

The parabens can trigger eczema in some with sensitive skin. Its best avoided.
The national eczema association site has a list of ingredients to avoid so does a site called exederm - they also sell parabens free products
.easeeczema.org/erc/ingredients_to_avoid.htm
.exederm.com/aboutirritants.html#parabens
hope this helps |

Anything with alcohol in it tends to dry out the skin....and mineral oil tends clog pores.... |

Cetearyl Alcohol is a benign wax and has nothing to do with rubbing alcohol which dries and irritates skin. The claim mineral oil clogs pores is more of a myth not supported by many people using mineral oil/vaseline for night moisturizer. |

Since I recently started researching skin care I've come across many negative opinions regarding mineral oil/petroleum jelly products. My supposition based on what I've read is that it is people who are acne prone/ have oily skin for whom it is a problem.
At 47 I don't have those issues and I find creamy petroleum jelly and any oils work great on my skin. I believe what is "good" or "bad" often just depends on what kind of skin the individual has to begin with. |
