Help!! I had the Restyline injections yesterday and now I am experiencing pain around my nose tenderness at the sight. I am prone to huge cystic acne in this area and I am afraid I may have not made the right choice.

I feel like I am getting huge cyst coming on and they hurt in this area. I have a lot of bumps and lumps going on too. Right where she injected me is where I get deep cysts under the skin.

I am afraid I have aggravated these cyst. When I scrunch my nose my whole face hurts. It is very painful. Just like I have the big cysts coming on.

Someone mentioned I can massage these lumps. Is this is ok? I had a car accident several years ago and the inside of mouth got damaged and now I can feel a lump inside my mouth that is irrated.

Oh brother. I don't think this was a good idea for me! Thanks! summerbreeze

Restylane eventually degrades and "goes away". This process can be sped up by injecting injecting hyaluronidase in the same area. Check with your doc about this alternative.

3rd day after procedure and it is a little less painful. I don't think I will go for this treatment again. I have had such a history of acne cysts. I was on accutane 3 times.

I hope it gets less painful. Summerbreeze

I get juvederm and for the first week or two it always feels lumpy and hard, but it softens up as it absorbs moisture. I'd be patient and see it you like how it looks in 2 weeks before panicking. Otherwise like dr tudorov said you can get widase or vitrase injected to speed up the breakdown. You can massage it gently but dont push too hard or you can move it around while its still "fresh". Put your thumb inside your mouth underneath the fold to support it as you massage.
