In the mornings I am washing my face, patting it dry, applying MitoQ serum, then when that dries I apply a light layer of emu oil which I leave on for 15-30 minutes. After which I gentle pat my face to remove excess oil and generously apply my sunscreen.
Is it possible the emu oil is affecting the efficacy of the sunscreen somehow? It seems like it really shouldn't be. Perhaps the mitoQ and emu oil are delaying the abosprtion of the chemical blockers somewhat, but I imagine the physical blockers would be fine.
What are your thoughts on this Dr T?
Also unrelated note is that I read some studies where MitoQ was shown to mitigate UVA damage by 30% in rats. Is it possible that mitochondria-targetted antioxidants are capable of not only preventing IRA damage but also UVA? And if so to what extent could one expect this out of MitoQ serums, pills, and other things like PQQ and C60? |
