Dr T,

Yesterday, my husband had a Mohs procedure across the middle of his forehead to remove a basil cell skin cancer. The incision is approximately 1 1/2” long. What are the best topicals or products to prevent scarring? Also when should he start using them and for how long?

In my experience, silicone sheets worked bast, but there are many alternatives and different people may react differently to the same treatment.
