i have some rather embaressing scars on my left arm, they are from cuts and are pretty flat and white. is there any way to treat them and make them go away!? they are about 2 years old, i have seen scar treatments however don;t know which one to use or which will work? can anyone help?
any help would be so greatly appreciated.

I had heard that applying fresh pineapples to old scars can help. It may be some enzyme or something. But canned pineapple is not going to work though, it must be fresh pineapple. I heard Dirk Pearson say this many years ago.
OK, quick search says bromelain is what does this. You can try taking bromelain in supplement form too.
Of course there are those other products for scars that you could also try. I think Maderma is one but there is perhaps another one like that. |

Laser treatments can help. See a dermatologist and ask if steroid injections would help.

I would go a cheaper route before experimenting with expensive laser treatments. You might want to try silicone sheets. There's a pretty good explanation of how they work here: vitalitymedical.com/vitalitymedical.storefront/4acf9ab800531a92271ad8b1902c06e6/Product/View/UNS66250707_ea
I've also had some good results with vitamin E oil. It reduced two nasty scars on my feet, but didn't get rid of them completely. |

Hi abercrombie,
I have read your all problems. I am also suffering from scar problem few months back. It was the stitches scars which looks very ridiculous on my face and arm. Then I use Microdermabrasion device at home only. After the use of that machine I really feel the difference. It was the wonderful device through which my all scars get fade up after few months. So I recommend you to use it and feel the difference. :) |
