Jowls and Botox with a side of filler?

Hi -
I have an event in a month that deserves improvement in the jowl area. (I considered ablative co2 lasering before the recent invite - but the down time and redness would not look good).
I am considering botox and a bit of filler - just to smooth the area for a short time while saving for the big laser redo. But is there something else?

I find pix of afters on the over 50 crowd and they look WONDERFUL! Is it just the botox/filler (or might be leaving out info on other procedures done?).

Ultherapy I have no info on or know anyone that has had it. Facetite and similar procedures?

The Y Lift looks/sounds good - cannot find info on real people and/or true pictures on any sites. Knowing the cost of botox/fillers to then be gone in months is a downer, Is there nothing else? Is surgery really the only real way?

Not expecting to look like a 20 something. Just smooth away some age. thank you :)
