FDA Consumer Alerts and Warnings Related to Cosmetics / Skin Care
|
We have compiled the FDA alerts and warnings most relevent to the majority of cosmetics / skin care consumers. This in not an exhaustive list.
Also, FDA alerts us only to a fraction of potential issues because it focuses mainly on drugs and its resources allocated to cosmetics are limited. Hence, the absense of an FDA alert regarding a controversial ingredient, does not necessarily mean that there is nothing to worry about. On the other hand, if there is an alert, it is definitely worth some attention.
Below we have compiled the list of FDA alerts most relevant to cosmetics / skin care.
