CONCLUSIONS: Low-dose oral isotretinoin and topical tretinoin cream therapy appear to be beneficial in the treatment of severe or recalcitrant rosacea. No additive benefit is noted with the combined use of these two modalities.

Treatment of rosacea: topical clindamycin versus oral tetracycline. [1993.01]
BACKGROUND. A new topical antibiotic preparation, clindamycin in a lotion base, was compared with oral tetracycline in the treatment of rosacea.These results show topical clindamycin in a lotion base to be a safe and effective alternative to oral tetracycline therapy in the treatment of rosacea.
