I was prescribed differin for night time use and cleocin topical gel for daytime use about 2 months ago. I went to my dermatologist here at Kaiser when I was experiencing an acne problem mainly on my forhead and hairline. I had improvement within about a month. I was told I may experience dryness or irritation but did not experience either. I had no side effects that I could notice. My dermatologist recomended continued use. He mentioned that he has been on the differin for 10 years and has noticed marked improvement in the reduction of darkened areas and wrinkles. I plan to continue to use the product for acne although it has improved greatly and want to see what if any effects it may have to improve the fine lines on my face.
