This product, for 'oily blemish-prone sensitive skin' is a soapless gel cleanser. It was recommended to me by a pharmacist, as well my dermatologist had indicated that the brand Avene is good. I had certain reservations about using the product as I believe it is for young skin. I am 26 so I am not so sure I fit into that category. In any event, I was suffering from very clogged pores, eg whiteheads and blemishes on my forehead upon beginning this product. I found that the gel cleaned up the worst of it, it seems a profound cleaner. As a result, the worst of the blemishes cleared up, however after 4 weeks of using this product, I still do not have perfectly clear skin. It is clearly a non-too aggressive treatment since the rest of my face such as cheeks which did not have the same blemishes at the beginning of my usage were not irritated. In general thus, I would say that is a satisfactory product and may work well for other types of skin (younger) but with my sensititve-combination skin I found it satisfactory at best.
