Skin Care Review: Eryacne (by Galderma)

by N, Sydney Australia

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
Consistent, effective.

Drawbacks
Reactive measure, not preventative.

Details
The most effective acne treatment I've ever tried. When applied to a particular area consistantly over 4-5 days there's simply no no redness or dryness, and NO ACNE. Often takes a lot less time (sometimes 2 days) except with major blemishes and zits. The strongest selling point of this product in my opinion isn't just its effectiveness but its consistanct results. I've tried a couple cheaper and more expensive treatments (or in Proactiv's case, much more expensive) and results were marginal at best (or in Proactiv's case, completely useless and complete with a return-business contract). Eryacne is the only one that managed to keep my trouble areas around my temples, under my lower lip, in the creases on either side of the nose, and between my eyebrows clear with regularity. It's very effective when used at the first sign of a blemish or a rough lump under the skin you know is a pimple waiting to hatch, and equally effective in beating back monster zits that snuck under the radar until it was too late.

The only draw-back I can see is that it's a spot treatment, not a regular full-face treatment. If you can afford to use it as such that's different, though even then I imagine over-use on non-problem areas WOULD eventually dry your skin out.

I'm still looking for a good regular full-face treatment to compliment it but for now Eryacne is the best thing since sliced bread for fighting acne.

Conclusions
The best acne spot treatment available.
