I'm 26. After I tried all sorts of antibiotics, followed by Accutane (twice) and it didn't work, I saw the commercial and tried Proactiv Solution. That was about three years ago, I have been using it ever since. I don't use the 3-step system, just the Repair cream, and order it direct from the internet when I run out. I use it every nite. If for some weird reason I break out (I went to Greece this summer and some combination of the sun and salt water caused a breakout like I was 16 again), I use it twice a day and it really kicks butt. I have a friend who's brother tried it and didn't think it was so great, never finished the bottle, so I guess it depends on the person. I had tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked to keep it under control as Proactiv has. The key is to not miss a nite, but that's just my opinion. It didn't "repair" anything as the name says, but it sure does keep the acne under control. It works better than Benzac (another benzoyl peroxide acne product) I think it was called that I used to be prescribed - I don't think you need a prescription for it anymore. For me, for the acne to be controlled, is VERY IMPORTANT bc unlike many of us with acne I tend to scar quite easily.

Conclusions
highly recommend you try this before more drastic measures like antibiotics and accutane.
