I ordered the Proactiv skin care set ( cleanser, toner, and repairing lotion) as yet another attempt to clear up my light-moderate acne. I used it for about nine months, adhering to the product directions, with no real results. During this time my lifestyle was fairly consistent (no major changes in activity or eating habits). It did make my face dryer. I also learned later that benzoyl peroxide can make red marks left by blemishes take longer to heal/disappear and I found this to be the case. After stopping using these products and switching to more natural products most of the blemishes I got had red marks that disappeared much quicker after the pimple was gone. Overall, Proactiv cost me money and didn't really help me at all.

Conclusions
Proactiv will work for some, may not work for you.
