Skin Care Review: Zirh Starter Kit

by Betty, Foster City, CA 94404

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
Effective in calming acne-prone skin. Feels balanced, supple and naturally hydrated.

Drawbacks
None for me!

Details
I've had relatively clear skin all through my twenties, but as soon as I turned 30, my skin began to break out. I started getting stubborn white deposits on my forehead and acne on under my nose, along my chin and on my forehead. The breakouts were not cyclical with my period so I figured they were stress-induced and hormonal. I'm a die-hard Shiseido fan, but coming into my thirties, my skin was in a different phase now. I tried using Differin and after two days, my skin was extremely dry on my cheeks and the oily parts of my face were slick, kind of mask-like. My best friend recommended Zirh Clean which she got from her boyfriend. At first, I was hesitant about going from Shiseido Bio Performance to a men's line, but I was desperate to try anything. So I went to Sephora and picked up the entire line: Starter Kit ($59 for Clean, Correct, Protect, Shaving Cream), the Scrub, and Zirh Fix. For a week now, my routine has been: 1. Wash with Clean and exfoliate the t-zone with Scrub; 2. Pat on Correct; 3. Dab Fix on Blemishes, 4. Pat on Protect all over face and neck. My acne is virtually all gone now and all the while my skin smells and feels fresh. I went back to see if Zirh made a acne lightening product, but no luck. So now I'm on hydroquinone 4% for the acne hyper-pigmentation. I'll definitely continue using Zirh for the rest of my life. Hopefully, it'll continue being as effective for years to come.

Conclusions
Five stars! I suggest using the Starter Kit plus Zirh Fix for faster results.
