My skin peeled until scabbed. Acne worse than ever before. Wrinkles more pronounced.

I began the obagi skin system with such high hopes of erasing my few acne scars. After 8 weeks of red peeling skin, I then got the peel, and continued the system. I had more breakouts than ever. My skin peeled to the point of scabbing. After looking like a freak for months, finally I decided I had had enough and wanted to stop. Now I have stopped and my face is not pelling anymore, but is producing dry crusty bumpy skin in the scabbed area around my mouth. I am 28 and look 35. My wrinkles are more pronounced. I don't know what I did wrong, but I am very unhappy with my results.
Conclusions
Results not worth the cost. My face looks awful.
