Skin Care Review: Clean & Clear Advantage Cleanser
|
by Jennifer
Rating Good
Benefits
cleared up my skin quickly
Drawbacks
dries skin, ruined my towels
Details I started using the Clean & Clear Advantage cleanser about 6 months ago and was very pleased with the product. I was happy that it cleared up my acne quite quickly, although it did dry out my skin at first. I started using it a little less frequently to avoid the dryness, which seemed to work. I still have and use this product and will finish what I have but will not continue to buy it.. Here's why: Without putting the two together, at the same time that I started using these products, my brown bath towels and face towels started turning orange in some spots. I could not figure out why and thought it was something in my wash until recently I stayed at my parents' house and noticed the same thing happened to their towels after I used them. When I got home, I took a face cloth that was still brown and put a bit of each of my shower products on the cloth and let them sit for a few minutes. When I rinsed them off, I found that the face cleanser had bleached the towel. Even though I rinse my face very well after washing it, my towels were still ruined from the Clean & Clear Advantage Cleanser.
Conclusions
Good for acne if you have towels you don't care about!
