I had SEVERE SEVERE acne as a 12 year old and my self esteem suffered terribly. I developed social phobia from it and couldn't even look my friends in the eye while talking to them. Went on roaccutane for several months - my skin completely cleared up to the point where it was perfectly crystal clear.

There were side effects that were annoying but the clear skin and confidence it gave me was well worth the side effects. I am now a happy, very social and confident 20 year old with loads of friends.

I suffered from extreme tiredness, huge lack of motivation, dry lips, red feet and a few rashes on my legs...also a little bit of depression.

Had to go on 3 rounds of accutane as skin problems kept coming back after several months off the drug. Still getting zits now as a 20 year old but nothing compared to acne I used to have.
