The Creme de la mer does soften scares, when used regularly (at least a month), it is the most luxurious facial product I have ever used. I saw results in my skin in days, the bumpy almost blemishes start disappearing immediately. I have mild acne at times and it took that away quickly then started to soften my old acne scars. The downside of the product would have to be the price, priced as if normal people can't have beautiful skin. As for the story that goes along with the product of Max Huber creating it to heal burns, then adapting his product for women... nice marketing but I think if he really wanted to help women and not just make a buck, the product would be priced normally. The upside of the price is that you really dont use much at all compared to other brands... the cream is extremely concentrated. Either way I'm addicted, I have a seacream fund....$200 is still way too much for face cream.
