Vita-A-Plus Night Recovery has the following ingredients: 8% Glycolic Compound, pH balanced (pH 4.0), 2% Salicylic Acid, 1% Vitamin A

The advertising for Vit-A-Plus Night Recovery suggests that it will rapidly improve skin texture, refine pores, control blemishes,diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and increase skin resiliency. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy any of these benefits. I used the treatment every night for 5 weeks and at the end of that time my skin did not look any smoother, my pores were larger if anything, and of most concern was that my skin was noticably drier. In fact I believe this caused the very fine lines on my face to be more pronounced. I don't have sensitive skin, and I also don't usually have particularly dry skin so I was surprised that the treatment was so drying. I used this product with a factor 30 sunscreen every day, and a strong moisturiser at night, as I was aware that vitamin A products could make you more sensitive to sunlight, and dry your skin. However I still found this product too strong.

Vita A Plus might work for others, but for me it wasn't suitable.

Conclusions
Be careful of this product if you have dry skin.
