Skin Care Review: M.D. Forte Skin Rejuvenation Lotion III

by anonymous, Colorado Springs, CO USA

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
wrinkle and scratch "scar" smoothing, non-irritating, non-drying.

Drawbacks
pricey, but 1 oz has lasted 2 1/2 months and still going with daily facial use.

Details
My skin is 53 year old, post-menopausal, white European, non-sensitive and normal. The site advises you to gradually increase your glycolic acid %, but I had no problem going straight to this product at 30% glycolic acid plus vitamins A & E. I have been using products for years such as AHAs, retinol, Retin A, Elicina, Strivectin SD. This product noticeably smoothed my skin even more than Strivectin SD by diminishing cheek wrinkles, indented scratch "scars" that I received from using too harsh scrubbing with exfoliating pad and that had persisted for 3 years. Even difficult eye wrinkles were smoothed (apply only at bony areas when near eyes). My skin has never looked better, and I've tried lots of products. The blackheads from previously oily skin are gone and my pores are finally small and attractive. Most skin discolorations from previous picking, squeezing, etc. have disappeared, and my skin is beautifully even in color. I am perfectly happy to wear no makeup which I have never been happy to do before. It didn't do anything for the upper lip wrinkles though. I tried a 12.5% TCA peel at 7 minutes on my upper lip and at day 4 I am pleased. Check MakeUpArtistsChoice.com for that product and cheaper glycolic acid products.

Conclusions
for a sure thing, a definite buy. for adventure and/or thrift, try from cheaper sites.
