Skin Care Review: Avotone (Avotox)

Excellent

Benefits
Smoothed brow creases and frown lines.

Drawbacks

Details
Not long ago, during a period of not entirely unproductive stress, I was shocked to notice that the furrow between my 47-year-old eyebrows had seemingly "locked" into place: I looked traumatized, even at moments when I actually felt relaxed and happy. Panic ensued. I was away from home, so emergency Botox was out of the question, but a topical quick fix was not. I got my hands on a jar of Avotox, rubbed it in as per directions, and was, again, shocked--this time pleasantly so--to see the devilish divet between my eyes slowly begin to "unlock." I noticed the difference within a few hours, and I have to say that, to me, at least, it was dramatic. I'd been increasingly bothered by the deepening lines on my forehead, and these, too, faded significantly. I've never had one of those "good grief, it's a miracle!" experiences with any other product (in fact, I'm relatively inexperienced when it comes to fancy skincare), but I can testify that this stuff actually did perform as advertised, at least for me.

That was about four months ago, and I continue to use Avotox (I think I bought mine before the name change) daily, though only in the morning after the first month. I continue to be pleased and surprised when I catch the occasional glimpse of my face throughout the day: it's always much smoother than I think it's going to be.

Maybe I'm more easily impressed than those who've been around the anti-aging skincare block more than I have. It's true that I still have a tiny little divet, just a shadow, really; and there are still lines across my forehead, but not what I'd call creases anymore. If my face is unusally animated over a period of time, I do notice the lines and divet more. Avotox isn't perfect, and I'm still planning to try Botox. But for a topical treatment for motion wrinkles, I love this stuff.

Conclusions
Definitely worth a try, esp. for motion wrinkles in the early stages.
