Skin Care Review: Reviva Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester & DMAE

Purchased this cream from local health food's store after reading Dr. Perricone's book, "The Wrinkle Cure". It is a combination of Ester C, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and DMAE cream. These ingredients are all touted to improve skin tone, be firming, imrpove skin texture, and make your skin glow. I apply a dime sized amount after washing my face with Dove,each morning and each evening without fail. Apply as you would a moisturizer.I also apply a light moisturizer about 5 minutes after the Ester C, Alpha Lipoic, DMAE cream combination.I began to see an improvement in the texture of my skin in about two weeks after starting the regimen. It has now been 8 weeks since I begin using this cream. During that time, I have spent time in southern California, Maryland and North Carolina. At no time was my skin too oily or too dry despite the climate. A visable difference in my skin texture and tone can be seen and is noticed by others. Gone is the mild brown mask "malasma", brown spots are diminished, the smooth texture of the skin is unbelievable. It didn't close pores, or do away with all those wonderful life lines, but there is definite improvement. I will continue to use this cream and at 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of creams from the dermatologist and skin care counters, it is affordable!
